thirsty?
must for sure be my 3rd. i go for the camera instead of scrubbing the inside of his mouth with hand sanitizer.
who knew you could pay so much money for your children to slide down a fake grass hill on cardboard?
but there were some pretty amazing animals.
not in here though. these were just a whole bunch of creepy creepies that, oh, gave bennett about 85 nightmares last night. he kept crying about "bugs!" and "mommy, please, oh please, can i sleep with you?"
hours of haunting bugs...but i must say, if i were an elephant (and especially if i weren't) this wouldn't be such a bad place to live.
rolling hills of mansions on one side. the beach on the other.
rough life.

We love the zoo, but ours doesn't have a fake grass rolling hill...what's up with that? Must be a California thing :)
The bug house gave Bennett nightmares? That's Gabe's favorite place in the entire zoo! Hissing cockroaches and leaf-cutter ants galore, and he loves 'em!
I'm with you on the elephant's location, though. That view is pretty sweet.
Love the water spigot photo... we definitely get pretty relaxed from the third child on!
Looks like everyone had a lot of fun!!
My kids love playing with cardboard too.
Isn't it funny that we never know what is going to give our kids nightmares. My boys play out in the dirt all the time...worms, ants, beetles...no biggie. But you introduce a spider and they scream like girls and have nightmares for a week. Quite funny!
