hang with friends and make some great patriotic crafts...
learn about the spindle and making thread and the inappropriateness of cleavage from clara barton...
and learn how to more quietly whine for snacks during the gettysburg address.
it was a beautiful day, one which brought me great joy......especially since daddy could join us and keep mason entertained while ella and bennett participated in all things presidential.

How fun! I didn't know the founding fathers road trip included a stop in CA...
Wow! Your day was much more productive than ours. We sat around and talked about...nah. We just sat around.
Lincoln looks a little...short...in that pic. I don't think I could've sat through the whole Gettysburg address, either.
What a neat day! Especially with daddy along :) I'll bet he loved Clara's cleavage, I mean, spindle.
